Aims & Scope

The Journal of Agroforestry and Environment (JAE) is an international peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original research, reviews, and short communications within the boundary of agroforestry science. Agroforestry is a multidisciplinary science that broadly includes agriculture, forestry, livestock, and environmental sciences. The journal also covers socioeconomic, management, and ecological aspects of agroforestry science.  Manuscripts that cover the above areas of science and have global impacts are encouraged to be published. 

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes one volume with two issues every year. But if the article is accepted, the journal will put it online first within 07 days of acceptance with volume, issue and page numbers.

Manuscript Language

The Journal of Agroforestry and Environment will accept both American and British English, but it recommends that the whole text be written in the same style. The author(s) asked that the manuscript be written and organized according to the guidelines of the journal.

Publication Ethics and Plagiarism

The journal is dedicated to upholding the highest standard of integrity in all published material.

The journal pledges to look into allegations of misconduct in order to protect the integrity of research. The JAE supports the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and adheres to its principles regarding how to handle acts of misconduct.

The journal may examine the submissions using plagiarism-detection software. If plagiarism is discovered, the (COPE) plagiarism guidelines will be adhered to.
